Retrospective of 2023 DMV tour of ‘PASSAGE… a Juneteenth journey’ for sponsors & community partners. Pointillism Jazz Consort presented this tour in a workshop version of the project with minimal tech (sound only) to celebrate the newest U.S. national holiday, Juneteenth. PASSAGE is being developed to be presented in the U.S. & abroad – to inspire cultural engagement & deepen knowledge of 400+ years of slavery, African American history, & civil rights.

Pointe West Performances
Since our inception in 1995, Pointe West Performances has been professionally producing original pieces & top flight community engagement/education.
Pointe West Performances is the 501(c)(3) non profit umbrella for the consortium of artists who collaborate to produce projects in dance, music, theatre, visual arts, film, improv (flash happenings), lecture demonstrations, and independent choreography.
Pointillism Jazz Consort
Pointillism Jazz Consort, a professional dance company, is the primary collaborator and is comprised of professional artists from around the globe. Projects of the company celebrate eclectic expressions in dance, music, theatre, indigenous traditions, film, and other disciplines. Since 1996 PJC has infused its performances with an array of perspectives, which encourages diverse audience composition.
The Infinite Legacy Project
The Infinite Legacy Project is a community engagement mission of Pointillism Jazz Consort which includes scholarship education in dance & the humanities.
Everything that we do is driven by The Art. We strive to create Art that speaks to and engages the creativity that glows inside all of us. Each season builds through education, the ILP, master classes, community outreach and engagement, and culminates in a performance produced under the PWP umbrella.
